Refunds and Returns
Nearly all of my lampshades are made to order, meaning each one is individually handcrafted just for you. Because of this, I kindly ask that you choose carefully before placing your order.
I will refund the purchase of any made-to-order or stock lampshade, provided it is returned in its original condition. Please note that:
- Return postage is the responsibility of the customer
- Postage charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will reflect this
- All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee
- If "free postage" was applied at checkout, a deduction will be made from your refund as a contribution towards the cost of sending your order. Deductions are based on the total value of your order and are reflected below:

Bespoke lampshades are created specifically for you, so regrettably, I cannot offer refunds on these orders unless they arrive faulty or damaged.
Lampshades purchased from our Great Shade, Less Paid collection are exempt from our standard returns policy and are non-returnable. We take care to describe each piece fully so you can shop with confidence.
If you wish to return your lampshade, or in the unlikely event that it arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of receipt. Damage claims advised outside of this timescale cannot be accepted.
Lampshades must be returned within 14 days of receipt in their original packaging. The buyer is responsible for arranging a suitable tracked and insured service. I recommend Royal Mail or Parcelforce, as most other couriers do not insure lampshades.
No refunds will be issued for lampshades which fail to arrive or are damaged in transit; you will need to claim for the loss with your chosen courier.

I strive to show colours as accurately as possible, but computer screens vary. I therefore recommend that you use my fabric sample service. You can order up to 4 samples free of charge - you only pay for postage.
Lampshades are expensive to post—depending on size, returns can cost around £10—so it’s always best to be sure before you buy.
